He has become synonymous with a franchise he did not create, which is a little unusual if not unparalleled (see also: The Hunger Games). Of course, this Matt Damon vehicle, Jason Bourne, is directed by Paul Greengrass, who took over for Doug Liman and helmed The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.
